On Apr 5, 2019, forty-two years after Srila Prabhupada departed, several news media outlets in Berkley California reported that a 32-year-old senior materials engineer at Berkeley Engineering and Research, David Xu, attempted to poisoning a female colleague. They explained how Mr. Xu slipped cadmium into her drinking bottle and how it soon became very apparent she had been poisoned as soon as she drank it. There reporters inform us that the victim noticed a “Strange taste, Immediate headache” -and had “immediate and significant health problems after consuming this water and required emergency care at a hospital.” It also states that “two other alleged victims were also tested for cadmium”
