This closing chapter is a plea to my old friend Dhira Govinda to please come to his senses and acknowledge the validity of the solid evidence presented to him, now for the third time, in this Open Letter. All the facts confirm that Srila Prabhupada could not have been poisoned the way Nico has manically alleged for over 25 years. As a friend I inform Dhira Govinda that the assault of these false poison allegations have exhausted ISKCON’s patience. Civilized countries respect the rights of a man to be considered innocent, until they are PROVEN guilty. Yet Dhira Govinda and his colleagues have falsely accused individuals of a terrible crime that is so absurd no attorney could get it into a courtroom what to speak of win a guilty verdict! ISKCON now has an arsenal of evidence to prove how Dhira Govida and his colleagues have blatantly violated the principals of simple jurisprudence and have recklessly engaged in corporate slander based on nothing but their own bias opinions and vengeful thinking. This is my heartfelt personal request for Dhira Govinda to earn the reputation of being honest and now do the honorable thing. He should simply admit that he made a terrible mistake and stop promoting this mendacious rumor. I pray he will take down all the propaganda he has authored in this regard, and agree to cease and desist with participating in it from this point forward. It would be to his noble credit if he voluntarily takes this remedial action now before more demanding sources will force him to do so. As long as he continues to demur on this point, the consequences of not doing so could be much more damaging to his reputation and wellbeing in every respect.
